In the last 120 years, many portrait photographers have emerged from the Lette Foundation. Their most outstanding feature is the inquiring eye looking at people and the conscious shaping of what was fathomed into the portrait of a person. Anke Jacob is one of them. She has portrayed at the end of the 20th century 100 time witnesses from the individual years of birth 1900 to 1999. In its series of cultural events of the anniversary year, the Lette Foundation shows an excerpt from the impressive series “People of the 20th Century”
